First we were just friends, then close friends, then addiction talking daily, sms, calls and mails and lately he kinda trying to mention that he is interested saying"I like you very much, you are so special to me, you're my addict" and finally "I am having feelings towards you". Do you think this is pure interest or a starting affection?

Sounds like a pure intrest in starting affection.When you have known each other for a yr or so ,seen one another at your best and worst.All the masks have come off and you are really who each of you are with one another, then you can say you know each other.Will you still feel the same wy about one another then?Youll have to try to find out.

No, he has the hots for you. He just doesn't know how to make the transition from friends to more as he doesn't know how you really feel.
Something like this could be the real thing for you two. It's hard to beat a love first started on friendship.

i think he really like you. but the most important part is, do you like him? if you think you like this guy, wait this guy to say this miracle word and you can try to have a serious relationship with him. and try to think positive coz every relationship have a risk so gud luck
