It's not a bad thing... Have you considered a career as a wedding planner or owner of a bridal shop or something? You may as well put your passion to good use. Not a lot of people find things that they love to do... and it sounds like you have found something that really interests you.

In terms of marriage itself... A wedding is really just a one day event, whereas a marriage lasts a lifetime (if you are lucky). So, if you are actually thinking of getting married, make sure you really think about the fact that the marriage is SO much more than the wedding day. It's a really large commitment that you may or may not be ready for.

It is absolutely not a bad thing!!! Weddings are a very joyful occasion, and looking at wedding "stuff", doesn't make you eager to be married. Maybe you should try a career in wedding planning ... if you meticulous and very good with scheduling, then that might be just the thing. It takes a lot of attention to detail but you should do something that you love.

I'm not being really that critical but I think it's a bad thing, because of your age.

I'm not saying you are doing yourself harm, but you are setting yourself up for a big disappointment later in life.

The time you want to get so excited about this stuff is not too long before you get married. It will make it a lot more fun.

If you think about this all the time at this age until you get married there is a good chance you will overlook a guys problems since he may indicate he's marriage material. All women do this to a certain extent regardless of age, but starting now is like a red flag.

I'm sure you helped a sister or older friend with these things and I know you girls have a lot of fun doing this.

One thing that you need to really, really, really, understand is that a Wedding is totally different than a Marriage. Don't dare get them confused or you will get hurt.

You gotta understand where this advice is coming from... it's coming from a dad with 3 married daughters. I know the moms want to kick me, but as a dad, what you are saying sort of scares me.

Its not too young, lots of girls dream about their wedding and love all the wedding stuff. Its not the commitment your making to the guy its more of getting all dressed up and becoming a princess that day and everyone coming just for you. Once you get older and find that true man you will than see its more than just the pretty dress its being with this man forever and having to commit to him. But dont get me wrong the dress and all that other stuff will still be a highlight of the occasion!!

No it's not a bad thing. I used to love looking at that kind of stuff when I was your age (I'm 24 now). Truthfully I still do enjoy it. It's fun to look at and imagine.

Perhaps you could take your love of weddings and wedding stuff and become a wedding coordinator/planner? I think that if you still enjoy it that much when it comes time for you to really figure out what you want to do in life...than Wedding Planner/Coordinator would be a good move for you!

no, it doesn't seem you are doing this because YOU want to get married at this point of your life - i'm sure you know that's silly because you are still so young. but, i see your enjoying all the exciting, happy things that make up a wedding. what i think you should do is look into it for your future career, is get an education in the field of a wedding planner. it's a hectic job, but if weddings give you pleasure, you'll find you'll love this type of work - and, in fact, it won't seem like work at all. when you enjoy what you do, it isn't work. good luck and keep on enjoying weddings! :)

Course not, as long as you're not getting married at this age (: So if you have a boyfriend someday, obviously he'll know you're into weddings, but if he'll propose you should say no, k? haha every girl in the world plans their weddings b4 their even 6 yrs old! You know, with Barbie and Ken and the pretend wedding, imagining you're Barbie getting married to a cute guy! hihi that sort of thing. Don't worry! Its ok to b into that stuff. Everybody is different, and have different interests.

A wedding is a very joyous event, but a wedding only lasts a day. A marriage is supposed to last a lifetime. Don't jump in too eagerly when it comes time for you to get married. Remember that you are going to spend the rest of you life with the person you marry.

Nooo! It is not a bad thing. You very well may want to be come a bridal consultant when you finish school. My friends and I used to love to look at all the bride mags.It was fun to dream. However we had other interests as well. But if it is getting other people upset...you may need to cool it a little..Also do not let your grades go down or your chores slide. At 16 you have your whole life in front of you.Enjoy being 16 ,once you are out of your teens you can't go back and do them over.Best of luck.

You are perfectly normal.

Get as much wedding stuff as you want. Look at as much wedding stuff as you want.

Some used book stores have used bridal books you can buy. They cost so much ladys sometimes give them away to help out others.

Theres a lot on line things you can check out also.

Take a friend with you and go look at wedding dresses.

HAVE A BLAST!!!
