humans are good at rebellion and doing the wrong thing....He kept helping thru Moses and Noah and Abraham and then he let satan have some time so we can learn that mans ways do not work!!

"ancient civilizations were polytheistic". Most were. But not the religion of the Hebrews.
From Adam & Eve throughout the generations to Abraham ( the "father" of the 3 main monotheistic faiths- Judaism, Christianity, Islam), God has always had a people that believe in the one true and living God.

It was all the way until now. the reason why so many ancient civilizations didn't follow it is simple. If you are born Catholic does that mean you will always be Catholic? As people spread out they developed their own ideas about God and the world around them.

The people tried to make a tower reach heaven and God cursed them making them spaek differnet languages.
Noah built and ark and God wiped out the whole earth and all the men who where not on the Ark.

He rested on the 7th day and hasn't stopped since. He put man incharge and as you may be well aware, we made a mess of everything. When he is done vacationing he will be so pissed.
