I have a problem like this: Normally the fork should be used by the left hand , right?

But when we eat noodles we use only a fork and the right hand, right?

So if your serving noodles with a chicken dish and veges, how do you cut the chicken and pick and arrange the vegetables (u know what I mean, right?)?

Because then you have to hold the knife in the right hand, right?

But then you have to use the left hand for the fork and eat the noodles, which is pretty awkward and not convenient (compare this to when you are eating rice: you use the spoon on the right hand) for the majority of right hand people.

Also, is there a need to use a spoon when eating noodles. I cannot think of any, but my wife argues that you should also put one on the table, which I find very ridiculous.
So how do we get about this?

Generally what you would do is cut portions of the chicken with the fork in your left, and knife in your right.
Then eat those portions incl. veges and noodles after switching fork to right and knife to left. when all the chicken you cut into bite size pieces is done, switch again and cut up some more.

The spoon should always be set at the table some people use it to 'contain' their spaghetti when their spinning it on their fork, I suppose as safety from splashing sauce as it turns or to keep food from 'running off' when you have to pierce food with a fork and it shifts etc..

The spoon is used to drink the soup if it is a soup noodle. Pierce the chicken pieces with the fork and bite off.

Stab and Twirl....that does the trick...as for the chicken, I guess you have to use the side of your fork to cut it....
