He's quite sporty, arty, musical-plays guitar and piano!

Christian:
you can buy a beautiful golden cross/silver cross from jewlery shop. Or his name alphabetic - if he's name is like Andy - A golden or silver.
If he's sporty - buy like a water bottle holder while he's let's say going for a run, or like cool socks, or a hat
if that's borring, then you can buy something relating a guitar cleaner, or (you can go to the shop and ask what you could buy for a guitar playing man - but not expensive too much )
You can also buy braselette, or cool neckless
buy something for his car, key -ring,
buy a small painting if he loves artwork -
but if all this sound borring, you could just take him for a romantic dinner... ???

If he is a christian give him a cruicifix, Or have a nice picture taken of yourself and put it in a nice frame and give it to him. Or you can get him a nice Bible. If he is Catholic, give him a Catholic Bible and if not that religion, give him a King James Bible.
