I believe that many people don't understand it because they do not want it to be true. Many spend their lives living in a complacent mind frame, never willing to step outside the four walls they have built up for themselves. Sure, people even may want to get to the point of knowing that God exists, but the true question (in my humble opinion) is, do they really seek to believe in God, and everything else that corresponds with that?

Well, to understand something you have to be able to be able to figure out what it is you're trying to understand. I haven't ever met someone who has figured god out yet. Most people can't agree what they mean by "god". Usually, when you ask someone what god is, the answer they give tells much more about what they are than what god is.

Because Jesus said 'Wide is the path to destruction (hell) and narrow is the gate toheaven that so few choose.
One day,EVERYONE (including atheists) will confess that Jesus is Lord and EVERY knee shall bow to Him. The sad reality is, if they don't do this before they die,Jesus will tell them, 'Depart from me, for I do not know you'

Because my cognitive mind doesn't permit me to believe in what I feel is a falsehood. Hmmm?

......Adam was made from dirt. Eve was made from Adam's rib that "God" yanked out of him. They were kicked out of Utopia("Garden of Eden") because they ate a fruit they weren't supposed to eat because a snake coaxed Eve into it.

Now to you believers out there, that may be a believable tale, but to me, that's just fooking absurd. Have a good day all.
