Why do men and women cheat?

Is it because they are unhappy with the relationship? Do they want a new experience? He/she is weak? What is your opinion? WOULD YOU FORGIVE IF YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER CHEATED ON YOU?

Men because they aren't getting enough sex.

Women because they aren't getting enough emotional connection.

Forgive? Never.

There are a few reasons why people cheat

1. they are not getting satisfaction from their partner - it may be a lack of attention, love, sex etc.

2. They are not ready to commit to one person - this is what happen to men most of the time

3. They want more excitement and the thrill of an affair or something secret excites them

4. They meet someone that they find interesting or exiting which is different to what they now and this makes them want to be with this person.

But you know what they say - the grass is always greener on the other side - until you get there you'll find it's greener because there is more ****.

No one should build their happiness on someone Else's unhappiness - then you will never find true happiness

I am proud to say - I HAVE NEVER CHEATED in my life
and that is something I would like to keep that way.
I have been cheated on - I have tried to forgive & forget - It never works

The best policy to live by is to tell your partner in the beginning you will not stand cheating - if they cheat, the are out the door. Then if they do cheat give them the boot.
Once a cheater - always a cheater
If you trully love someone you will respect them enough not to hurt them and to be cheated on hurts.

I've answer this before. People cheat for different reasons. Some do it to "escape" from an unhappy marriage, others because they want to...and can, weakness has nothing to do with it. I would not in any shape, or form continue on in a relationship with someone who cheated on me. The relationship, to me, is poisoned. People who do this are horrible, it isn't that they don't know it is going to hurt the other person, it is that they just don't care. Karma, now, I love how karma works. It will rarely come back to you from the source from which it was spun, but it will always return with a greater impact than which it started with.

No I could never forgive them if they cheated on me. But as for why people cheat, my opinion is they just want some strange booty. A different piece than what they are getting all the time. I don't think weakness has anything to do with it. But I have never cheated on a girl so I really don't know. But I've been cheated on alot. And that's my opinion.

Men and women cheat for a variety of reasons. Ranging from, simply because they can. Some are trying to fill an emotional need. Some a sexual need. So there is not one reason. Yes, I would forgive, however, I would also move on with my life and find someone with the same ideas of what a committed relationship is all about. Cheating is not one of my qualifications. I think either a man or woman can get seriously bored in a routine relationship. Its almost like a way for them to feel alive or wanted again.. Ever feel lonely even though there's plenty of ppl around...

I think most men cheat because the amount of sex they want and need just aint being fulfilled..
Women, I just dont know really...

A man needs to have sex to feel loved
&
A woman needs to feel loved to have sex.

Its just a catch 22 and I reckon that more ppl cheat on their other half than would ever admit it...

i have already told mine from the start that it is the one thing i will not stand for, and i have had one do it before, and let me tell you what i dropped him so fast he didn't know what was going on, in the end it depends on the sitch, like with mine i caught him in the act when he knew i was around, in other words he didn't care at all, other times they are pressured to do so whether that a good excuse or not is up to you, i think that some feel that they are missing out on something and that there is more out there but they are scared to end it with the person they are with because ending it is final and then if they find they want to come crawling back they can, but i don't know its all a matter of opinion, good luck hope that helps

Cheating is a weakness in a personality whatever the subject of cheating is! I can never forgive a cheater coz the moment he will do this ... he is not mine ... just drifted away and surrendered to his weaknesses ... love is strong and full of sincere affections and faithful sacrifices.

sometimes it can be for unhappiness..but they dont leave the relationship because they are afraid of what might happen with the other person..(if the other person truly has feeling for her/him or if he/she just wants some fun)

they may be curious of what it will be like..and also curious to know if they can actually get away with it..which we all know everyone who cheats gets found out eventually.

and if i had a boyfriend and he cheated on me it depends on how many times he did it..who with..for how long..and so on..it truly depends on the situation..

It could be for many different reasons, but the most likely is that they are unhappy with the relationship and feel attracted to someone else. no, i would not forgive him coz i believe that he would do it again and that he doesnt really love me if he did it. I would find it difficult to trust him again

They cheat because they are tempted and they think the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. They cheat because they are bored with the same routine of their sex life. Some cheat because they are getting old and can't cope with the change of life and go out and get someone younger.
