I am moving house and i wanted to give my childrens bedrooms different themes. I have a 6yr old boy, 3 yr old girl, and 6 month old twins boy/girl. I want the themes to be able to last them for a few years. Also the twins will be sharing a bedroom.

For the twins, how about Winnie the poo. It will last for several years and is gender neutral I like your idea of motor bikes for a boy, and fairies for you middle daughter...for great wall stickers check out etoys.com. I have bought Winnie the poo for my 2 year olds playroom and bedroom there, the best part about it is when we are done they just pull off and do not damage the walls. While I did not see fairies or motor bikes I did see Tinker Bell and other accessories. But you can look at other websites as will. Good Luck and happy decorating

For the 6 year old boy, how about a nautical theme or a sports theme? The 3 year old girl will probably like a flower garden theme. And how about a jungle theme for the twins? Just make sure to look for classier versions of these themes instead of using cartoonish images.

for the 6 yr old boy, what's best is a sport's theme, and surely it would last until he would grow up, if only he prefer sports. Or you could try some sort of space theme or ocean theme, but the two are more kid-like than the sports theme.
For the three year old girl, I suggest a flowery theme, or a starry theme (stars in diff. colors). For the twins, ocean theme works best.

I like broad themes that aren't limited to one brand or character. My daughter's nursery theme was moons and stars, along with angels. Then we changes it to "things with wings" and added butterflies and took the moons and stars out. Now she has a new room with a garden theme (flowers, butterflies, fairies, etc.). Flexible themes are nice because when you see somethng cute, it just goes together.

baby animals; elephants, hippos, you know, big round soft looking
also, colors with sparkle and movement and some playful lighting will be an additional spark....kids like places to put their things, boxes, baskets, even netting. you might even consider letting the kids label some of the areas with signs or pictures.
