Hi, I'm sorry but I had to laugh when I read your ?. Most definitely NOT!!!! A Doberman is very intelligent, they do have tremendous strenght and are very powerful!! Most are fearless and assertive with a lot of stamina. I suppose as any other dog they could be very vicious if trained to be, but all the ones I've owned and seen are very affectionate and loving. A Doberman is very devoted and loyal to their families and would give their own lives at protecting them. They got a bad reputation stemming from way back in the 70's because the wrong people got them for the wrong reasons. They did own them to be very intimidating and vicious. Kind of like the Pits now that get a bad rap because of human lives!!! I will tell you this, I would not want to be attacked by a Doberman because they would/could do serious damage!!!! Simply check the web and read the statistics on the Dobies, I have never read anything on them being evil. I wouldn't have loved them for so many years if they were evil. I wonder how many Dobermans Zoeksalam & KKL2006 have owned to judge these dogs as they have? I'd bet NONE!!!!!!!!!

All dogs are good its all in how they are treated and trained. if trained and beaten a chihuahua can be just as mean as a pit bull that has been treated the same way. A abused animal will act accordingly. My friend had a Doberman his name was Bruno, he was big, strong, and mean looking but the only thing mean on the dog was his gas....lol The cats would mess with him and he would think he could do anything a cat could.

You should have known better than trying to jump over the fence when the Doberman was around.
Dobermans with their short tails may at times look queer( definitely not evil) but they are a wonderful breed.

No kind of dog is evil. But some specific dogs that seem to be evil. Like the kind that doo doo's in the middle of the night right next to your bed so you step on it the next morning with your bare feet, yes, they make those little goo goo eyes like they're sorry but you can tell by the little smirk on their face that they had planned it all along!

They are sometimes bought by idiots who train them to be vicious and use them as guards and status symbols.

However well trained they are as friendly and reliable as any breed.If they had an unpredictable nature they would not be so popular with many police forces around the world.

I don't think their evil, its like any dog really how you bring them up influences their behaviour. (I know a few breeds have 'killer' instincts) but the dobermans I've come into contact with seem quite placid and friendly.

any dog is only viscious if they are raised that way! if you shower any dog with love and attention you will have a gorgeous pet who'll return that love to you,If you treat any dog badly you will have problems. Dobermans are placid dogs if they are secure and safe with a loving family. with any dog it depends on how they are brought up.
