Also, I'm lookin for a phone that has long bat'ry life, a high megapix, and one that can download a good number of songs w/o takin up much mem'ry.

almost any phone you buy now will have that.. all you need is one that can get on the internet and you can read your email (though features are limited)
if you are planning on sending emails and not just reading them, then go for a palm or a Q or a blackberry. they do everything you listed and have good web interfaces..
if you have verizon an enVy might suit you well..

go to letstalk.com they have various phones from many carriers and you can compare the phones from one another and some of the expensive phones they give you for free(they have a razr phone for free right now!!!)
