I need to organise a hen night that is unique. My friend doesnt want the normal L Plates, dressing up etc.
Needs to be not too far from Northampton and also appeal to people of all ages.
Any ideas ?

What about hiring a cottage for the night with a big field etc and have some pampering products and lots of wine.

My friend did this and it went down very well.

Well I have ppl of all ages coming to mine. It was a nightmare to organise. In the end I gave up and decided to take them all to our local health spa which isn't very expensive in reality when by the time you think that ppl will buy an outfit for going out in town then spend money on food or drink the £70 each for a full day with 2 treatments n full use of all facillities isn't bad at all.
Plus I'm not into male strippers n all the cheese that usually comes with hen nights so it'll be lovely to go and relax for a full day in the run up to the wedding.
I'm also having a meal and a few drinks with my close friends and bridesmaids (that are old enough) a couple of days before.
www.ivillage.co.uk has some great brides to be on their wedding planner board they will be more than willing to give you ideas.
Good luck with what ever you go for.

Why dont you first book a meal out, perhaps italian, have a few bottles of wine with the meal etc then book yourselves in for a show or comedy performance, this way it will appeal to all ages but also give you a good night out and everyone will be happy. It allows a few drinks too without going out on the town constantly drinking

The pampering thing is great. I've done this. You ask each 'hen' to bring three things but enough for everyone.

1) Their favourite beauty treatment
2) The ingredients for their favourite cocktail
3) The ingredients for their favourite late night snack.

Then everyone takes it in turns to makes snacks/cocktails and give beauty treatments. You all get to know a little bit about each other and if someone is feeling flush they can bring the sanctuary goodies and bubbly whilst if someone is feeling poor they can just bring nail varnish and some cheap vodka and fruit juices.
