Your very idea of wanting to help fellow human beings needs to be appreciated... You could begin by helping someone in your neighbourhood who genuinely need assistance or look out for a local charity. Fellow human beings are not only starving for food but also for care and understanding. You could spent quality time with such people, trying to understand their life sufferings... And if you want to make helping your profession, that too is possible. GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES in all that you do.

I agree about using http://www.thehungersite.com to help feed the hungry.
You can also do your web searches through http://www.goodsearch.com/ and each search will provide a small donation to a charity of your choice. (It's about a penny per search, but your pennies will combine with others to add up. The way I see it, I'm doing web searches anyway, so I might as well help someone at the same time.) GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo search.
I GoodSearch for World Vision http://worldvision.org/ which is an organization through which you can sponsor a child or make a one-time donation to help needy people around the world.

Go to this website below. The idea behind is site is that the easy way to help starving human beings is only a click away, and it's free, thanks to the site's sponsors. You can only click once each day, but you know that you will be helping someone in need.

There are a few things you can do:
Donate to the UN's food program.
Volunteer in your local soup kitchen.
Ask around in churches, mosques, charities, etc for things they need.
But above all, you should never waste food.
You have a heart of gold. God bless you and good luck.

Go to their community and start a program with them. Open a shelter which can be used as a refuge. Sounds easy doesn't it? Look up Volunteers abroad and tell them you are thinking of signing up.

Start by the one near you.You will have reduced the starving population by one.If this action becomes the habit you will never find reason to ask this question.People of God let us love one another and do not let your neighbour sleep hungry.God will ask you,why did you not give me food? And you ask him,When did i not give you food lord?He will tell you,When your neighbour asked you for food and you refused to give him food,it is me you refused to give food. Our lord will therefore chase you, telling you, move away,i do not know you.

If you are in a different country to where they are then why not donate money or food? You could also sponsor or help sponor a family or someone for a few pounds/dollars a week or month.
