Depends on if you want registered or unregistered, show material or hunting stock, or family pet, and what age. Pet shops cost the most usually. If you want unregistered and don't care if they are show material or hunting stock, look at the shelter. If you want registered/show/hunting dog, then you are looking anywhere from 200 to 1000 dollars depending on breeding, gender, age and training already put into the dog. My father and I who co-own Flint Hills Kennels Beagles register to a group for just rabbit hound dogs as well as AKC. It is called American Rabbit Hound Association. They have good breeders and can help you locate what you are looking for and for your price range as well. They also have a posting of all breeders who want to list to the public that they sell dogs, and have a section just for people that are selling at the time. They are on the web at www.arha.com But for purebreed with papers you are looking at no less than 200 from a reputable breeder.

ok at the start, there's no clarification so you might reproduce your dogs except you're a consultant breeder. There are literately 1000's of canines and doggies that get placed down each and every twelve months because of the fact there is not sufficient residences for them because of the fact human beings such as you manage the mother's like breeding machines. in case you look on purely one Basset hound rescue internet site I wager money there will be approximately 2 hundred or 3 hundred canines that want help. So do not even think of roughly bringing a clean muddle of undesirable doggies into this international.

Depends on where you get your Basset Hound from.

Shelters charge fees between $10 and $150 for their dogs. Rescues on average charge between $150 and $300 for theirs. Breeders and backyard breeders often charge more.

If you're lucky, you can even get one free from your classifieds if someone has an unwanted litter.
