Depends on the cause of the vertigo, but generally, the answer is No.
Sometimes Vertigo is caused by a physical condition, such as an ear infection, and so you might have caught the ear infection.
Often Vertigo is psychological and counselling can help.
Check with your doctor and take care of yourself xx

For me, vertigo was a symptom of multiple sclerosis. It is quite common when you have a bout of optic neuritis. This is not a common condition, nor is MS. Vertigo is most often caused by a middle ear infection, and it is also an unpleasant side effect from certain medications.

Usually it is not anything contatious. I suffered from vertigo/dizziness for seven years and tried all the different medication the gp came up with but nothing helped. I then found out that it was microscopic parasites causing me all the trouble. I got rid of them and is fine again now.
