No our troops need our support, stuck there with inferior gear and out-numbered for the most part. How long should it take a comm n chief to figure his people need help? Since they are lacking body armor(some have to buy things themselves) and Iraq still needs repair--where is the BILLIONS of $$ going toward this 'war' anyway?

Not at all it means just that "supporting our troops"
This country was founded on the principle
That all men should be free
We've fought a lot of battles
To insure our liberty
We first fought on our own homeland
We lost some many on Bunker Hill
There were so many others who gave their all
Once a year we honor them still
We started off with two main forces
One on sea and one on land
Then when situations became difficult
The sea grew a different breed of man
Our love of freedom grew beyond our shores
To secure liberty's sweet freedom for all
We helped those who had been subjugated
To free them from tyranny and help them stand tall
It was at this time of technology
That the land force split in two
We not only roamed the land
We flew high in skies of blue
No matter where it's at
We've face oppression and it's allies
We're not men of steel
We're just real American guys
We made a promise to America
We put on names on the dotted line
It doesn't matter where the conflicts are
We'll be there; any place, any time
We're fighting for all of you
Loyal to our Commander-In-Chief
With your support and devotion
We are strong beyond belief
We're the men and women
Who have answered our country's call
We'll take the fight to the enemy
Until terrorism takes a fall
We are Freedom's Vanguard
We insure the liberties that it brings
We're the people of the Air Force
Army, Navy and Marines

Not at all. You don't have to support Bush or believe in the war in order to support the troops and show them some love.

As a former member of the Army, I know for a fact that the troops are no different than the people here. Just as many of them disagree with the powers that be, but they signed up to do a job and they have to do it.
Support the troops! They need to know they are appreciated!

No it means that you support the troops that they arrive home safely and wish them luck. they don't have a choice in deploying (i.e. Lt. Ehren Watada) otherwise they get court martialed. Regardless of what happens, you should support your troops because a lot of U.S. blood as well as innocent bystanders has been shed. And right now, I'm sure most people agree it has to stop.

No it doesn't. Supporting the troops means not condemning them for following orders and doing their duty. Many of the soldiers don't agree with the president either. But they swore an oath to serve and follow orders.

It depends on what you mean by support. I do not want to see them die even if I think they are killing confused people under the guise of lies. I know they swore fealty to my tribe, the U.S., and they are only able to follow orders or they go to jail labeled a traitor. I would also follow my orders unless I was firing on unarmed people every day, then I would want to go to prison or get killed myself. My heart goes out to all of them for not having a good life here with their families and friends. If there is one thing people should concern themselves with in regards to the big picture, it's the rate at which people are being born and the reasons people are dieing. If these issues are not important to you, go back to your television and World of Warcraft.

Your question speaks volumes about your level of independent thought. If this "agenda" you speak about is so hidden, how do you know about it?
If the "agenda" you are referring to is to take the war to the enemy (no, not the propaganda word 'insurgent') and prevent attacks on US soil, then I guess the answer would be yes.

I'm a Canadian soldier and you really have to think about it this way. Your troops believe in protecting your freedom so much that they are willing to die for it. And for not alot of pay.
I be you a lot of American troops don't agree on everything your government does but they stand by the people.
Even if you don't agree, you should at least honer those who protect your right to not like your governments decisions.

To whom am I speaking? Lisa,Katrina,Ginger,Lory,Susan... Brenda, Bob, Nancy, Curly, Moe or Shep. I clicked on one of your questions that said "Asker Lisa" and the question came up with Brenda's tag. Can't keep all your accounts straight can you. Doesn't do much for your creditability. Is it not also corrupt to have many accounts or avatars, to ask questions then answer them yourself and give yourself "Best Answer". Huh. isn't it? Many on this site as, you know have said the same. Below is one such answer about you.
thenextjfk - No, the funniest one is when I asked if Nancy and Crypto Jew Girl (2 separate accounts!) were the same person, and BRENDA answered "no we are not"

Here is another
As people have caught on to what she is doing, particularly the high volume of spam of late, she has added numerous screen names on an almost daily basis.
It does appear that she is having trouble keeping track of who she is when she asked a question...and who she is when she answers.
The funniest one I came across was when she asked a question with one name...answered it with another...and then awarded herself 10 points for having the best answer!
