what does this mean
theres a guy who has been after you for weeks....he got u flowers...told ppl you know he likes you....trys to find you...eventually gets your number off a friend and asks you out...you accept...on the day he has to stay back at work so he couldnt make it then doesnt contact you the next day...
is this normal
is he playing mindgames?

i don't know about today's young people but that would be concidered very un-cool in my time. he should be respectful and thoughtful enough to at least call and let you know he couldn't make the date and ask how to make up for missing the date. don't waste your time on him.

I see no mind game whatsoever. I do see some weakness.
Like maybe he go scared paniced and made up the work story or he did work and he is too embarrassed to see you.
Either way this guy is digging a hole. You on the other hand need to continue to playing it cool. You can give him a little time but the not calling is bullshit. Be ready to charge him to the game and move on.

Don't be stupid. Just wait. You know there are always circumstances - in fact they alway emerge in the worst and unexpected moments. This is LAW not to be ignored. How many misunderstandings I've had just because of the bloody circumstances!

This guy better have a good excuse, like getting hit by a car and ended up in a coma in hospital.
