It appears to me as it is, but many generations also thought that the end would come in their time, i guess the end is fluid.

It;s been bearing fruit for thousands of years now. Ever since God told both sides, "This land is yours", they have been fighting and killing each other. Every time there is another Israel/Palestine conflict, consider it another harvest.
