The guy was married & had children but an extra marital relationship resulted in the wife walking out.The second wife has two children by him.He has tried to obtain a divorce from the first wife with the help of councilling by church leaders & friends which failed.Due to this, churches in general do not want them to get involved in any activity/leadership & they feel sort of isolated. In the mean time they are regular in fellowship, bible studies etc.& also are in prayer for a solution & confess of their sin.The first wife is now understood to
have suggested for an amount to be paid, which does seem to be difficult for the guy ,but he wants to get things over with the first wife so is making an effort. In this situation are the churches
doing the right thing as laid down in God's word?If his efforts fail should they continue to be kept away from membership & taking an active part in the church?

Too bad religion isn't as forgiving as the guy they're all supposedly worshiping. I can guarantee if you let those folks back into your church (Which, if you're as "Christian" as you claim, you should do immediately), there is going to be a core group of the congregation which will always treat them like lepers, consistently copping a superior attitude. That's just human nature. My advice to those folks who are trying to get back in: Don't. Move away, and start fresh somewhere else. Look up the word "pariah." It's most appropriate.

On theKarma ledger of existence, 2 columns, the 1st genuine itemizing sturdy deeds, the 2nd, undesirable. in case you're heavy on the left, then you particularly are reborn to stay all of it back till you learn, with the station you're born at in existence without delay on the subject of ways odious those deeds have been. Hell. corresponding to sitting an analogous 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in severe schoolor being relegated to kindergarten for the latter. If whether you're heavy on the superb suited, then you particularly are patently a shining occasion of piety, goodness and mankind. or you have lived in an incubator and existence has no longer examined you. The latter being a miserly detrimental. Then heaven is here all around and the highestone awaits YOUR coming to his gate. If whether there genuine and left hand columns are the two the two numbered, then existence has been a conflict yet bearable, then you particularly probably would be reborn, till you're a shining easy to the international around you.... Be enjoyed.

Pray, ask God forgiveness
And mind your own affairs, not casting any stones at them.
Don't push away any members! This to me would be wrong doings on your part.
That's not the christian way.
Let god be the judge not you or anyone else.

I feel asking them to leave will only cause them to stray away from any of god's work.
Let them work it out on their own and in their own given time.
Some people have to hit rock bottom before climbing back up that ladder.

As a Christian this "religious" behavior baffles me. Why exclude a man from church membership because he is a sinner? Who here has not sinned? The very ones keeping him out are hiding sins of their own. Only difference is theirs have not been revealed.......yet.

This pisses me off, the fact that people can try to go to church and attempt to learn some good things and be better people and the church rejects them.

Bad church.

It's all like a CIRCUS how people commit Sin then goto the POOR PRIEST to confess what hell they've carried out.

This is NOT THE WAY THEY CAN SAVE THEMSELVES or attract forgiveness.

It is God who restores - not a church!

As long as heartfelt repentance has taken place, then the Bible teaches us that we our sins are removed as far as the east is from the west. Allow God to use them for His glory!

Go figure. Jesus welcomed everybody. Love thy neighbor, turn the other cheek. The church sadly does not adhere to these commands.

This church is doing exactly what it said it wouldn't do. Its judging and condemning when its own bible tells them not to. This church isn't worth the time put into it. Loving and caring my big fat butt....

You are not following the beliefs you claim by rejecting them for their actions.
Jesus loved all and ACCEPTED AND WELCOMED all. Everyone sins, even you, so be careful with your judgements.
