i have always had many male friends ever since i was about 6 i was telling my bf i went cinema last night and he asked how many guys and girls i went with i said i was the only girl with 7 guys and he seemed a bit jealous how can i explain i prefer male friends as females seem to always back stab me.

I think you are a lucky girl because your Boyfriend loves you more thats why he feels jealous if you really loves your BF then try to understand and live accordingly if not then please break up now otherwise you both will getting trouble Remember one thing Love depends on Trust. There is no argument/jealous in love.

Tell him that most of your friends are male and always have been. It doesn't mean they're boyfriend material, just guy friends.
He'll either get it or he won't. If he doesn't, you probably need a new boyfriend. Although you do need to make sure you're 100% honest with him so he knows you aren't lying to him.

mmm very hard situation, but i can relate. You can't blame your bf to feel that way, remember he doesn't knew you since your 6 yrs old so that he can understand you all the time. But then why not try to introduce him to your male friends and let him join to your group.In my experience, since my bf always get jealous when he knows that i talk to my male friends, sometimes i keep it to myself although its bad thing to keep secret but just for me to avoid misunderstanding. Aside from that i explain to him untill he understand me. But i am trying to avoid talking to man also, coz i dont want to lose him.

Personally, if a girl tells me such and such guy is just a "friend" i know there's absolutely nothing to worry about.
