I love my mum's cooking but I never could resist a chinese or indian takeaway - I would have the takeaway on the weekend and choose my mum's cooking all other times - sorry but I can't choose one or the other

I'd choose my mum's cooking!! My mum cooks the best Sunday roast! Takeaways are great for when you are feeling lazy and tired and don't fancy cooking!

I'd choose my mums cooking over takeaways any day. My mum goes all out when my brother and I visit her. She cooks a roast dinner, she makes the best roast potato's. And her scones are delicious. Unfortunately I didn't inherit her culinary expertise. I know my children would probably prefer takeaways.

When we were growing up, we did not have a lot of money but my mum always seemed to make a meal out of nothing, since then I have been trying out all the odd and peculiar things, and I have managed to do the same.OK I will admit money is not an issue now, but it proves you can eat a good meal without going to the takeaway.
So give me my mum's cooking any day (Bless her)
