DOn't scare me like that. THe first thing I saw was Mexican military entering the US. THe racist Illegal immigrants on the Net keeps talking about an invasion. Give a guy some warning well ya.
I would guess the Minute men would say about time. AS noted by the seatle article, Mexico typically was at the recieving end of disaster relief. Also the minute men would probably say the Mexicans entered the US legal at that time.

So what? Once, in over a century, the Mexican military lends aid to disaster victims in the U.S. So what? Many of the victims were probably Mexican citizens anyway. And why wouldn't you give at least that much to a country that is helping your economy ten fold over what the disaster relief amounted to? So you think this entitles Mexico or Mexicans to some special treatment?

This has nothing to do with the illegal aliens. We also have sent aid to Mexico on many occasions and will continue to do so.

And the anti illegal alien issue is not a race or color issue. The Minute Men are composed of 25% ethic (other than white),and 55% women. They are NOT a racists group. They are everyday Americans of all colors, races, heritages and socioeconomic backgrounds, that want the lawlessness of all illegal aliens to stop.

This is not a race issue no mater how hard the Marxist radical truly racists groups like La Raza Unida try to make it. They are only pushing the race card to further their own racists agenda.Read below please:

We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party

I volunteered with the Red Cross here in San Antonio, serving several hundred, (thousand?) Katrina evacuees. Yes, the Mexican Army came and worked alongside of us in different ways. It was very nice of them and of all the countries who leant us support during that time.

Now, for the umpteen hundredth time, it's not Mexicans that most Americans are against. It's people from ANY country who come and who refuse to become citizens of this country... they use up our resources, but do nothing about going through the naturalization process. I live in San Antonio. Many of my neighbors are former Mexican citizens who have become LEGAL naturalized American citizens.

The problem is not with "Mexican" or "immigration"; it's with ILLEGAL.

The 40 trucks from the Mexican Army that carried relief supplies for Katrina victims were a nice gesture and a good PR move but they cannot be used to negate our need to control our own US borders with other countries.

I appreciate the work by Mexican immigrants, legal or otherwise: they mow my lawn, clean my house, pick my vegetables etc...but I want my country, the US, to have a say on whom we want to admit to our country and whom we do not. No country wants people to just walk across its borders unchecked.

I wonder what the people of Mexico would say if thousands of poor Chinese would land at your ports everyday without any papers and permission from your country?

No se, senor, as I am neither a "Minuteman" nor member of a "hate Mexico dot org." However, I am quite like yourself in background if you are a "Mexican" as defined as descended from Spanish and Indio cultures. Mexicans are pretty much like Americans; a hybrid race of at least two ethnicities. Most of we Norteamericanos son mas que Mestizos as you can check us out and find anywhere from two to twenty nationalities flowing through our veins.
Embraced your photo essay of mobilized Mexico rushing to aid Katrina victims as I also "put my money where my mouth is" via monetary and goods/services" donations to the stricken area. Am willing to bet your volunteers were like ours; from less financially advantaged and rather common folk (campesinos y vecinos) unless you are a "spook" trying to propagandize the unsophisticated such as myself.
I guess I was rather lucky when I was young as I had the opportunity to live in Mexico among regular ciudanos (citizens) rather than politicians sans the political motives and when el Presidente was Lopez Mateos instead of Vicente (silk sheets) Fox.
I work for an international corporation I am sure you have heard of and my co-workers come from all over the world, including Mexico and other "latino" nations. Indulge me if you will as I am rather a blunt, straight up person and frankly, we in America do have a problem with ppl from foreign countries whom want to earn a living here but will not learn English as I learned Spanish when I lived in Mexico. Plus, Mexico did not provide me with a translator, did not permit me to vote in English or Spanish or grant me mega-pesos in the event I wished to become an American-Mexican.
Rafael, if you and others believe we hate you because you have an accent or replaced a white worker we knew for years, some of that could be true, but more realistically, we resent your countrymen's taking our jobs, being ordered to support strangers when our family members are going hungry and the general attitude of Los Angeles "Mexicans" refusing to speak English while in America. Hell, walk in my mocassins for a bit...en Colonia Tacubaya en Mexico D.F. nadie me entendido cuando pido "bread and butter" en vez de pan y mantequilla." Should I have blamed the storekeeper because he didn't speak English when it was much simpler to learn a couple or words instead of jabbing and pointing? Por favor, ask your country cousins to do what I did as a matter of simple courtesy and don't tell me "cortesia" is unknown in Chapultepec Park or the Zocalo as I know better.
We are all ambajderos (ambassadors) when dealing with new people....no wonder the Martians don't want to contact us as we can't even get along with fellow earth residents.

'anti Mexican hate groups'...?!
So anyone who believes that the US should protect and defend its borders - as mandated BY FEDERAL LAW,- is a 'Mexican hater'?
Grow up.
BTW, what do these links have to do with ILLEGAL ALIENS flooding into the US?
Why can't you 'open border' people stck to the subject and present a rational argument for your position?
Oh, thats right...there IS no rational argument for allowing rampant illegal entry into this - or any - sovereign country.

That we are grateful to our friends who help us. They were legally here.

Do you think we never help Mexico?

Every legit Mexican in the US and at home could donate a kidney, their right arm and both eyes and it still wouldn't be enough for those who are debilitated by hate and bigotry. They can say what they want, line up 50 Mexicans and they can't tell the legit one from illegals. They wave the we love Mexico flag in order to keep up appearances.
