All what windows? Your question doesn't make any sense? Nothing displays 'at' the desktop except your program icons and wallpaper.

Right click empty area of the taskbar and click on
Tile Windows Horizontally
or
Tile Windows Vertically

If you are a mac user, then you can see all the widows at the same time by pressing F9
