My pastor (1st Baptist) shocked everyone in church Sunday by getting up behind the pulpit, before the hymns and everything and stated,
"I have grown to love every one of you over the years, but in a two-year re-evaluation of Christianity, I cannot preach to you in good conscience about something I no longer believe. Prepare yourselves, we are entering a new and exciting age of possibility. I have reviewed the evidence fairly and am forced to find another foundation for faith."

and then he said, "God bless you all!"

Needlessto say, the church was in shock, the Pastor went home and moved his stuff out with a U-Haul and the Associate Pastor gave an off-the -cuff sermon in his stead!

My dad (a Deacon) talked with Dr. Jenkins and came home saying that Dr. Jenkins had been involved with a Christian debating team, and the outcome of 2yrs of heavy research has proven that Christianity is indefensible as a means of faith!

He's going to go to Medical School!

Many Pastors are Quitting! We are living in the end times.

Christianity has always been indefensible by humanity, not by God. I think it should be studied and not be debated. How can anyone debate miracles or heavenly things or the existence of God or Christ? There are many prophecies, witnesses and writings and many still wouldn’t believe. God send His Son and then nailed Him on a cross so everyone can see and many still wouldn’t believe. The end times is getting nearer, hang on to your faith, you will need it.

Hope this help you, prayer for your Pastor, and God bless.

Funny how people fail to gather enough courage to break free from the myths of childhood. Your pastor (former) is leading the way, follow him. I no longer believe in christianity coz God just revealed to me that God is not a person. The bible says so. In fact, Jesus is coming soon to destroy christianity & islam. These two religions are the prodigal sons in Jesus' parable. let me promote my book to you, check it on www.theparableofadamandeve.com. In fact God says too that Adam is a blessing, not a curse. I feel bad we have been lied to for too long.... follow your pastor!

Hopefully, your pastor will one day find Christ, not 'Christianity as a means of faith'. There's a big difference and for him to leave the false teaching of many Christians and many churches is a good thing.
