Starbucks in itself does not cause you to have weight problems anymore than McDonald's does. Restaurants are there to serve us. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and you have done that by asking. OK. If you don't want to put weight on, I suggest you swap some of your calorific content, if you count calories, during the day and eat differently in the day time. One night out, is not going to cause you any problems. If you were going out clubbing every night and drinking lots of alcohol then you would need to think seriously about what you can do to prevent weight gain but one evening out with friends in Starbucks is unlikely to cause you any problems.
Just eat food with less calorific content during the day and you'll be fine.

Get a non fat milk latte with a sugar free syrup- cinnamon dolce, hazelnut and vanilla all come in sugar free. Don't add whip cream- it's made with real heavy whipping cream (about 5g fat per tablespoon) and vanilla syrup, which is loaded with sugar. Get lots of thick foam to replace the whip cream. Don't add sprinkle to the top of your drink- cinnamon dolce sprinkle, vanilla, chocolate, etc. b/c they all have sugar in them. On Weight Watchers, a grande non fat, sugar free vanilla latte is only 3 points.

I dont know your taste preferences...if you can stand straight coffee it is zero calories, but I am health conscious and have a fairly sweet tooth so I always get lattes (caffeine depletes calcium so women need milk!!!) just get low-fat milk with it and then sweeten it with 1-2 splenda packs.
YUMMY! I have it daily and maintain a good weight! Have fun! :)

any regular coffee drink (latte, cappucino, espresso) should be fine, coffee is shown to improve metabolism, the flavouring syrups however contain sugar which isn't good, the only sugar free syrups they have are hazlenut, vanilla, and cinnamon. You can have them use soy milk instead of regular milk too.

regular coffee, a latte with fat free milk or soy, avoid the whipped cream and sugar additives and chocolate/caramels syrups. Or try the tazo passion fruit tea it is really good!

Eat only when hungry and that too not more three times a day. Take only water, and nothing else. in between.
Chew each morsel 32 times.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

Regular coffee. Don't order the lattes and mochas and whatnot they're full of calories and fat.

Starbucks is great if you order black regular coffee and do not add creamer or sugar.
