You walk over, shake his hand, and ask if he likes that "little lady over there", then tell him she's a thousand dollars a night. And when he says " how do you know?". well tell him,"Why she's my fiance". That will usually work. Buy the man a drink, and grin at him.

Follow your girldfriends reaction.
If she is as annoyed as you are, clock him.
If your g/f is not annoyed with it, let it go, the attention is only "unwanted" to you. She may be enjoying it, taking it as a joke or something harmless. Hence, if you react then u da bad guy!

Be cool or chill about it if it doesn't seem to bother her. If it bothers her you better confront the guy. It might be hot at the moment to punch him. Just don't do anything dumb that would send you to jail. Scream and cuss at him let him know you could kill him and that's he's in the wrong!
She'll think you're hot and you won't spend the night worrying about dropping the soap!

Don't do anything.Remember she is with you and not him so be proud of that.I know you want to beat him silly since that is the masculine thing to do but it will emabarrass your girl.By showing some self control you also show that you are a mature guy.Believe me girls like this more than guys with his fists ablazing.Leave the fighting to cavemen and ignore the shmuck.

It happened, and all 6 foot boyfriend has to do was look at the guy, the guy vamoosed the other direction.
I would prefer not to see violence, especially over a misunderstanding, boyfriend went to the bar, and the seat was open.

Be cool and confident that your girl is yours. Stroll up to the man and whisper in his ear: "Go fish somewhere else, this one's been hooked already!"
It is a compliment that someone else likes your girlfriend, as long as they are not being pushy and upsetting your girlfriend.

Tell him loudly and firmly but politley to leave her alone, so everyone is witness so when he doesn't I can beat the **** out of them and no-one will cry 'racism' or 'unprovoked violence'. But having a martial art where you can simply deflect another's blows means that you don't really have to fight or strike hard- just know where.

It depends on the girl. Most these days handle it nicely by saying "Bugger off you..."
If called to the rescue. one of my techniques is to simply move between them, facing the male and saying something depending upon the body language involved.
I have never had to use fists or violence because I am not built small or do I lack confidence.

In so far as I undertand these matters, I believe the appropriate response - at least in some areas of our capital city - is to put some sort of flat hat in his bottom.
