I was thinking of proposing to our local church to have a Sunday Fried Chicken Pic-Nic and play the banjo for them darlings so they can feel JESUS and The Holy Ghost flying around as we sing and stomp in Joy. We can drink the blood of jesus and eat white crackers and have a baptism afterwards for the lord. What is another good idear?

Tell them about Grace,don't teach Legalism or the old testament Law of Moses.Tell them about Gods unconditional Love and total forgiveness upon being saved.Tell them how they will be reborn brand new and delivered from the wages of sin and the power sin holds over them.Explain what it means when you say "Jesus died for your sins" instead of just saying it.Tell them what people had to do to recieve forgiveness for their sins before Jesus died for us,then tell them how simple it is to be forgiven now because of Jesus's sacrafice for us all.Give them hope for a better future as a child of God instead of giving them fire and brimstone.Make them feel wanted and needed and accepted and loved.I've been to too many churches who make me feel like I'm so bad I should just go home and kill myself and save God the misery of having to put up with me.The law teaches you can try all you want to be good enough,but you never will be.Grace teaches you don't need to do anything because Jesus already did it all for you.And you are loved more than you will ever know and in Gods eyes you are a saint and not a sinner.By Grace because of Jesus you are made right in the eyes of our Heavenly Father and nothing can change that.Grace and Gods mercy will save our youth,the law will just disable them and turn them away in hopelessness.I am so glad for you for caring and wanting to do something for them.Peace be with you and God bless you.

Jesus is love.Religion is what crucified Jesus.He hung around the thieves and prostitutes and only rebuked the fundamental religion because they thought they were right about everything.The thieves admitted they were wrong.We are so far from being right it is pitiful. Jesus said only God is good.
