Is it Buddhism, or is it Bubbhism? Do you know Bubbha Sparx? LOL...

Buddhism is a 'religion' in a sense that it has been named as Buddhism, when an enlightened being had taught the way of living and dying, and escaping life and death.

By the way, Buddhists do NOT worship the Buddha. It is only a general act of respect and veneration as for the Christians and the Cross, the Muslims and the Ka'Bah.

Buddha lived 2500 years ago - he was an Indian prince called Siddhartha. He was married and had a very comfortable life. He found he was not happy so he left all his wealth and his wife, started to search.

By meditation he found enlightenment and became Buddha ( the enlightened one)

Now althoght some people worship him, his is not and never clamed to be, a God. He is to be emulated not so much worshiped and indeed any person can be come a Bubbha

Buddhism is a dharmic, non-theistic religion, which is also a philosophy and a system of psychology.

I don't think Buddhists don't worship Buddha per say. In Buddhism, a buddha is any being who has become fully awakened (enlightened), and has experienced Nirvana.

For a moment, thought you got your 'd's the wrong way round!...but no, it does indeed appear to be a sub category of Buddhism though there's little, if any info out there.

They don't "worship" Bubbha.. Bubbha, or Sibartha Gautoma, was simply a man who communicated valuable insights about reducing human suffering. I would say that they 'revere' Bubbha. I dunno, maybe they like the term worship. But I usually reserve that term for crazy people.
