I have a prescription for bifocal glasses (which I purchased) but I have also purchased a few pairs of readers as backups. Walgreens does not show this as a deductable FSA item however some internet drugstores do list readers as an allowable expense.I would alsowould also like to know if Ensure is an allowable expense. thank you

Generally only prescibed glasses are enligible for reimbursement. You will need to check with your company on this. As for the claim in internet, don't forget this could be a marketing gimmick. Its best to check and be sure.

No, Ensure is not a deductible expense.

Over the counter items aren't deductible. The prescription bifocals you bought are deductible. The Internet drugstores are not correct to list non-prescription items as deductible.
