the guard cells that are responsible for the stoma opening in the plant are sensitive towards light and temperature.hence, durin day which has sunlight the guard cells open and more transpiration takes place in the plants.
this process in useful for the sunflower.as we know sunflower faces towards sun.the reason is that the cells that are directly facing the sun loses water due to excess transpiration become flaccid due to less water content and hence they droop.this gives us a feeling the sunflower is facing the sun always.
the uses of transpiration are that the plant can absorb more water, remove exces water, etc

All those answers are wrong for your specific question. They're making it harder than it is.
The rate of transpiration is more during the day to keep the plant cooler. We sweat to cool our internal body temperature, plants transpire. That's why, and that's how it helps the plant.
For a more detailed answer read on:
Transpiration is when water goes into the roots, goes up via the xylem, and eventually goes out the stomata.
Now...
The traditional method that plants use to fix carbon is called the C3 cycle. It uses less energy than the C4 method, which I'll briefly discuss later.
When the temperature is too high, the plant closes it's stomata so no more water will transpire...otherwise the leaf will wilt. Now that the stomata is closed, the plant can't get CO2 in. If the plant can't get CO2 in, the internal CO2 will deplete and eventually run out of carbon. If it runs out of carbon, it can't fix carbon (duh :P). If the plant can't fix carbon, it can't photosynthesize and thus make fructose 1,6 biphosphate (which is later converted into sugar, starch, etc).
Furthermore, there is something called photorespiration that a C3 plant does under these conditions. It is not good! The plant will actually release CO2 into the air instead of oxygen. What happens is that O2 is fixed to the 5 carbon molecule ribulose biphosphate, making phosphoglycolic acid, which eventually breaks down into CO2. Photorespiration can also undo up to 50% of the carbon that was fixed in one hot, dry day.
In other words, the plant can't conduct normal photosynthesis without carbon.
There are some C4 plants that can fix (attach) the carbon in CO2 to make malate (a 4 carbon molecule). They do that during the night. In the day, if the temperature is really high, and it's dry the plant will close it's stomata. It will no longer get carbon from CO2 because the stomata is closed. However, it can get carbon by converting malate to malic acid and there are other various biochemical processes after that, but basically it gets the carbon it needs (to photosynthesize) from the stored carbon in the malate.
Then normal photosynthesis can occur. However the C4 method requires more energy than the C3 method. Biologists are actually working on getting C3 plants to be able to do C4 metabolism, as well as C3. That would bring the most productive crops.

the rate of transpiration is more during the day as a result of wind from the sea.transpiration helps the plant to maintain a stead level of water.

THE RATE BOF TRANSPIRATION IS MORE DURING THE DAY BCOZ OF THE FOLLOWING:-
1)STOMATA ARE WIDE OPEN ON THE SURFACE OF THE LEAF
reason:the stomata along with the guard cells help in diffusion of respiratory gases.
the water lost during this time is more due to more heat absorbed by the surface of the leaf
=> rate of transpiration > rate of absorption of water.
ON THE WHOLE TRANSPIRATION IS NECESSARY EVIL.
SINCE ON ONE HAND ABSORPTION OF WATER BY ROOTS
AND ON THE OTHER THE LOSS OF WATER NOT ONLT BY LEAVES BUT ALSO FROM THE AERIAL PARTS OF THE BODT.
THE ADVANTAGES OF TRANSPIRATION ARE:
A)PROVIDES COOLING EFFECT
B)TRANSPORT OF WATER AND THE ASCENT OF SAP
C)PROVIDES SUCTION FORCE.
THIS HELPD THE PLANT TO SURVIVE SINS ETHIS PULL ALONG WITH FLACCIDITY & TURGIDITY HELP TO THE ASCENT OF SAP.
HENCE IT IS A NECESSARY EVIL.

It is due to Photosynthesis where plants absorbs minerals & in the presence of sunlight prepares food for themselves. The Oxigen librated during the process is evoperated through stomata present on the surface of leaves which ceases during night . It helps in preparing the food for the plants.

a million. Temperate. 2. Wind velocity. 3. Humidity. 4. gentle tiers. wish that helps. in case you decide on reasons as to why, then: a million. Evaporation and diffusion are quicker (extra kinetic power). 2.Water vapour is got rid of rapidly via air stream, dashing up diffusion of extra water vapour out of the leaf. 3. Diffusion of water vapour out of the leaf slows down if the leaf is already surrounded via moist air. 4. The stomata (openings interior the leaf) open wider to permit extra carbon dioxide into the leaf for photosynthesis.
