I totally agree with you! I'm in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) right now with my husband and we're both going to baptized and confirmed this Easter! I'm soooo excited! 28 days to go!
God bless,
=)

You state: "im catholic and happy, is this the best religion? im a catholic and i think its the best religion, is it the best religion?" - YES! - for you this sounds like a wonderful fit. You are happy! This is wonderful.
Asking people if this is best religion, well this is not really productive, as few will believe you, and many have cause to hate the Catholic religion; some hate all religions.
Your happiness can not remove the hurt others have received by Catholics, or religions in general.
Of course it would be great if your happiness infused others with joy and people attended churches of all faiths, but in reality, your happiness may not move all to investigate a religion to be as happy as you are today in yours.
Again I am very happy you are happy and have found such peace.

Catholicism is the best and the only religion in the world that is founded by God. All other religions and denominations are man-made and have a man for their founder. Whereas the Catholic faith was founded by Our Lord Jesus Christ in the year 33, whose first Pope was St. Peter and whose successor is Pope Benedict XVl. This church will stand the test of time, will withstand the worst assaults from hell and will not fall since it is built on the Rock of Peter.
P.S. The Orthodox , Lutheran etc churches are schismatic and do not recognise the authority of the Pope.

I was raised as a baptist, best friends were catholic. Since then I have been around many of all religions and even atheists of course. I have asked this same question....and after all my research, I have a real simple answer.....the Bible.
It will tell you what is right. Don't listen to a building nor a man, but the book, the book won't steer you wrong, but a man or building will. The book will tell you what is good and what is bad.

I think you have to search for the truth. I don't understand some of the answers above as they consider the choice is personal according to desires as if religion is just a new car or dress and the choice is optional. Now what is religion? It is our destiny and fate. It is the most serious decision and it should be taken as that. As different religions have major contradicting concepts it is reasonable to consider all of them wrong or only one of them true, it can't be that all of them true. I hope you do your home work and reach to the straight path and only then you feel the true happiness and the inner peace.

I believe that ultimately what suits a person is the best religion. the one that makes them happy, content and feel as though it is something worth believeing in. i love being a Christian, some people love being an atheist, others love Buddhism, some people are happy being Jews, others are content to be Islamic. The great thing about the many religions is that all together they offer great diversity to suit all people.

For you it must be. You sound happy.
Some critics of Christianity try and set Paul against Jesus. They will often claim that what Paul taught is not what Jesus said and that present-day Christianity is derived not from Jesus, but from Paul's teaching. This is an erroneous claim that does not fit the facts. It is easy to take various scriptures out of context and try and set one person against another -- as many critics of Christianity have done. Nevertheless, we can confidently expect that Jesus and Paul taught the same thing. Granted, Paul focused more on theological issues than Jesus did, but nothing Paul said is contrary to Christ.
Keep the faith. God bless!

I'm going back to Catholicism or Orthodox religion (...possibly Judiasm, but I'm not sure) after going to a non-denominational church. I found that there was so much hatred and closed-mindedness in Protestantism (as well as bugging the Hell out of people with "2 question tests" and such) and that they tend to be so fierce because they think that Catholics worship Mary (we don't)... some will say that she wasn't a really a virgin, but it's even in the KJV Bible that she was...
You're setting yourself up for a lot of trouble if you tell door-to-door faith pushers that you're Catholic. Tell them that you're saved/born again and they'll often leave you alone. (Though I think it's more Grace than just blind Faith... Faith without works is dead, but so many people seem to forget that's written and say that "works can't save you" ...they can't, but they're a PART of faith.)

that's a not common one. you're able to discover a stability between mendacity to them and others, and being defiant and hurting them. ok, they convey it on themselves, yet they're your father and mom and doubtless you adore them. As to taking communion, it may be incorrect, from a Catholic point of view, to take communion while you're in a state of sin. So do exactly not visit confession, and clarify which you're too puzzled approximately suitable and incorrect to admit with out being a hypocrite, and so which you won't be able to take communion. Being honest with your self is the extreme element. you could stay away from answering questions with out mendacity. in the event that they opt to comprehend what sins you have dedicated that make you in want of confession, in basic terms say that your doubts look to qualify you for that status. you're starting to be up; they could anticipate you to take a extra person view of issues.
