Resize your photos. In your word doc, Select photo, right click, format photo, layout (choose layout) then OK. The photo in your document will then be movable and resizable.

A good way to resize photos is to exploit a loop in microsoft's programming. Hopefully you might have office publisher on your computer. Well shrink the picture in word. This size will be the actual size when you re-insert it. Then copy the picture to publisher. From publisher select the picture and copy it, then paste it to paint. Save the imang as a JPEG ot JPG file. Then simply insert this into your document. It works for me!

you may reduce the quality of the photos before you paste them on word document. Some editing programs offer that.

you will have to take it to a resizing website. http://www.photobucket.com and http://www.shutterfly.com are two great ones. It will ask you to upload the photo of your choice. Once you upload it choose how much you want to "compress" it. save the new file to your document.

hope i could help!
