My dear friend. It's very nice of you to respect you parents, that's what I felt from what you wrote. Nevertheless nor your family or anyone should make you do anything against your free will. Only you know what would make you feel happy. Parents often want the best for their children, but sometimes what they might think it would be good for us, may not be good at all. Keep respecting your parents and chose better your friends. Have you heard this expression? "Tell me who you walk with and I'll tell you who you are". Well, it's just like that.
And don't give up on your life, better days will come. Be perseverance and have faith in you and God my friend.

Good luck.

If you are old enough to make your own decisions then get out. If you are not old enough then just wait til you are. Life is always worth living because you never know what is around the corner. Having spent so much time practising as a monk you will appreciate the philosophies at some stage in your life even though you did not enjoy the experience of being one yourself. Hang in there it's just one of many good & bad experiences you will encounter in your life.

Yes. You are right. I continue to destroy myself just so I can have real or at least feel like I have real friends. But in fact I do think they are 'real'. All you must do this you must do that can go out the window, means nothing...Just at least have sincere relationship with others beats being a monk just for sake of having 'bad influence'.

you need to do what i need to do , get out of the rut , and discover what you are capable of , go back to your freinds , dont be a monk , and try and get back into a cirlce of oppurtunity , not a circle of missed opurtunities.. remember you control your life , whilst you parents may give influence , they shouldnt direct you into a corner , and if the have .. get out and learn that you can mould your life to..

It's not worth living when they won't leave you alone. Grow up.
