I can understand in some cases people jump right in Q&A and forget to go back and award but more times than not "they" don't care and just want to be seen.

I don't think so. I think people that post in hopes of a best answer rating might feel robbed if they feel their answer was best but that's silly.
In any event a best anser rating is hardly a "blessing" unless the Pope is handing them out, or something ;-)

The best reward is knowing that you did a good deed. Besides, the points don't matter. What matters is that you helped someone. You gave them answers to one of life's mysteries, or clarity, or confirmation. Knowlege makes the world go around- you helped to spin the world!
