i'd like to know where you are getting your source. because there have been several historical recordings of the events in christ's life. if it helps you any in research....the clendar is offset from the bible by about 5-7 years. the new testament recorsd Jesus and his family fleeing to egypt until king heron died. history record king herod dying in about 4 b.c.. so Jesus would have been born around 6-8 b.c. some who have written about jesus include tiberius himself, and several of the centurions in the roman army. as to why.
As it was stated before, nothing has been completely 'debunked'. also, you ahve to rememerb that the bible was trenslated some 5-6 times before the king james version was established, and each verison has about a 3-6% differentiation, mostly in the spelling of names.

What things for example? Be specific!
However, the Bible was not written for scholars or scientist, it was written for the common man.
Though some things are very difficult, a diligent study of the scriptures will enable common men to understand the scriptures once they see them.
The fact that people believe in strange things not taught by the Bible, the Bible itself gives the reason for:
2 Timothy 4:3,4, "Will be for a season, when of the wholesome teaching not they will endure, but according to the own desires of themselves they will heap up teachers, tickling the ear; 4and from indeed of the truth the hearing they will turn away, to but the fables they will be turned aside. "

Why is it that MANY scientists that once were "sold on" the idea of the "Big Bang Theory" or evolution are now admitting that the human body is TOO COMPLEX for there NOT to be "Divine Intervention" ?
Why is it also, that when scholars cannot seem to find locations of "lost" cities, that they turn to the Bible to find hints of those locations, and MANY TIMES find what they are looking for, with the use of Scripture???/

there's a confusion right here between 'erotic' love, and 'brotherly' love. the way I understand those passages is 'brotherly' love. it somewhat is later set forth and expounded upon in Rev. 3:7-12, the place the author exhorts us to ABSTAIN from temptation, to not succumb to it! If something, I see have confidence simply by fact the underlying subject matter between David and Jonathan, not erotic choose. have confidence is precisely what Saul lacks (comparable to any in many situations paranoid king, such simply by fact the Herods of Jesus' day), and envy is the main properly known motivation for behaving the way he did. In a million Sam 20:30, we see a classic psycological projection (outright lie) of blame, alongside with accusations of mistrust. certainly, it replaced into Saul who replaced into to be embarrassed, not Jonathan's mom. Saul purely could not undergo to think of God had forsaken him for David, even however deep down he knew the reality. an identical will ensue to every physique who judges themself unworthy, and acts rashly. David knew he could desire to have confidence Jonathan, and of path enjoyed him for it, replaced into greatful to God for it, in a time the place homicide, mayhem and mistrust have been the criteria of human habit (and in lots of techniques, nonetheless are today). greater advantageous, if David in any respect demonstrates erotic love, it somewhat is in his escapades with Bathsheba, (a woman) and not with any men. (2 Sam 11)

Like what?
I'd like to see them trying to "debunk" God on the Day of Judgment.
And Nazareth most certainly exists; it's a city of about 100 000 people (250 000 if you include the new Jewish settlements above and around it) in the Galilee region of northern Israel.

They've answered you here in their denial.
It certainly appears that many Christians wear blinders. If it's not in their books or their magazines or what their pastor tells them, it doesn't exist for them.
They criticize science for learning and progressing. Apparently they consider it a sin to learn from previous mistakes.

Because of the Muslims. Church memberships will drop if
not for the reported Muslim threat. If Islam is seen to have a
nice friendly Allah then no need to galvanise the Christian
membership blindly.

why don't you post at least one of those things? The Bible has been proven as an accurate historical source. Nothing I know of has been debunked.

PLEASE STOP THAT there is NOT ONE Truth in the bible that is NOT taken out of context we are not to believe and obey NOT because of some bible scholar but because of A "IT IS WRITTEN" as Jesus said to the devil in Matthew 4:4 It is written man DOES NOT live by bread alone but by EVERY "WORD" that proceedeth from The mouth of God, also Isa 8 says this: 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.
