I see alot of people opposing the idea of african contribution to the Persian forces. I mean correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Egypt (an African country despite the rumors...no really look at a map) one of the many territories that fell to the Persian empire? If so they would have to had picked up people from Egypt to be of some benefit to them right? just a thought.

people get all caught up on perceptions and interpretations of history, a Persian army would only have "Persians" which was not the case.

Yes the Persian empire was spread out over many regions and had many different people in it.

You are absolutely right, Egypt was in the Persian empire so it is fair to assume some Africans would be in the army. there were also Babylonians, Indians some Greeks, and various other Asian nationalities.

But it is not about historical accuracy, you are talking about centuries of prejudices and racism. If you want facts without personal bias, you have to look for them. the modern world is more interested in perception than facts it some times seems.

Negroids were all called Ethiopians or Nubians. Assuming Egyptians were ******* flys in the face of History. There was a Time in egyptian history that they were conqured by the Nubians and were hels for around 300 years. It was Alexanders right hand commander Ptolomy (Ptolemy I Soter (Greek: Πτολεμαῖος Σωτήρ, Ptolemaios Soter, i.e. Ptolemy the Savior, 367 BC—283 BC) was a Macedonian general who became the ruler of Egypt (323 BC—283 BC) and founder of the Ptolemaic dynasty. In 305 BC he took the title of King.) That produces the Queen Known as cleopatra (Cleopatra was a direct descendant of Alexander's general, Ptolemy I Soter, son of Arsinoe and Lacus, both of Macedon. A Greek by language and culture, Cleopatra is reputed to have been the first member of her family in their 300-year reign in Egypt to have learned the Egyptian language.)

Which is why Cleopatra was considered Caucasian by Historians. This factoid angers a lot of American Blacks but Egyptologists agree.
