do you look straight ahead at the person seated in front of you when taking a huge bite out of your burger or do you lower your head and look down?

if you look straight ahead, isn't it gross for the other person to see you opening up your mouth and see your black hole?

Hah! This is a great question. Typically, when you take a nibble of said burger, your elbows are firmly planted on the table. Now, if you have a burger clutched between those hands, you would naturally lean downward to get a bite (versus picking up those elbows off the table to bring the burger to your mouth).

Lowering the head and chewing slowly with your mouth closed is how it SHOULD be done - however.......
