My therapist and I think the social phobia I have is impossible to cure because I have PDD-NOS. I do (or say) unusualy things and that would give anyone anxiety. Also there may be an acceptance problem with PDD-NOS . It may help the anxiety if I accepted it more. Should I try wearing a t-shirt the coming week with the words "I have PDD-NOS."?

I bet you are doing great and that you will find a way to deal with your disorder. I can't say that I understand what you are going through but I am sorry you are going through it. I do like your sense of humor about the t-shirt thing.

If I knew what PDD-NOS meant it might help, I personally feel there are way too many titles given for this or that. Why the need to advertise you have a problem, I don't wear a t-shirt around saying I have a depression. People who genuinely love you won't feel any different just because you have been given this title, and anyone who does never cared about you anyway. I have a friend who I thought had some strange behaviour, at 34yrs, he was diagnosed with Asperges Syndrome, dosen't mean anything to me as he is still a friend
