The existing door is located onto a bearing partition wall !
I really don't know if I have to put 2 jack studs and separate them with block or follow the same method .
I also don,t know what type of frame Have ( balloon or platform)

Sounds like you may have to do a little exploratory surgery. Your going to have to remove the wall finish anyway to expand the opening and replace the header. I don`t see any reason to do anything different than already exsiting.

It's best to put the jack studs in there,that's how it's done.
New header,the whole works.Have fun.

your best bet is to reframe the opening , new header, crips, and kings
