it's your problem if you ever want to know what an american is speaking.

you may want to practice listen a lot to easy materials, such as http://npr.org podcasts, other newscasts, audiobooks etc.

I think that understanding those should be unchallenging for you. This will help your brain will "fix" the american pronunciation, which will then help you to understand faster/less careful speakers.

paying attention to lip movement should also improve your listening comprehension.

i think that's normal, its the same way we cant understand foreign accents, you cant understand ours.

No, you could always ask people to please repeat something for you and I am sure they would do it.
