I ask my recruiter and he said I woudln't be able to get a job in the medicsal field but my man is in the army and he said i should try anyway.

Trust me these recruiters don't know EVERYTHING!

I'm not sure about the medical field, but I know having the probation waiver in place would prevent you from qualifying for jobs that require a higher level security clearance.

This is a question that needs to be addressed with your recruiter prior to going to MEPS.

A possession charge does disqualify you from jobs requiring certain security clearances and jobs in the military police. The Radiology Specialist job field does not require a security clearance.

It does seem logical that someone with a past including drugs wouldn't be allowed in a field that issues drugs...

Also, you probably won't be able to get a Top Secret clearance so that will leave you out of INTEL jobs and things like that.

Try for Supply.
