If the Democrats are elected, we'll have Socialized Education from Pre-School through College with uniforms and Socialized Medicine just like Cuba (those are the 2 government programs Cubans are most proud of by the way). If the Neo-Cons remain in power, we'll be at war with the entire Middle East and half the Far East and a police state at home. Under both circumstances, we'll be flooded with more illegal immigrants and we'll lose our sovereignty to World Government. When you consider both possibilities, you see why we need to elect Ron Paul as our next president because he's anti-war, pro-border security, and anti-Big Government. We cannot afford to choose more of the same in 08.

As for Nullification, such a policy is already constitutional. See Thomas Jefferson's Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions (or is it Declarations?) from the 1790s when the Adams administration passed laws prohibiting criticism of Federalist (as in Hamiltonian) Party politicians. It's absurd to suggest that the states would have ever signed the Constitution if they didn't hold the right of Nullification and if the federal government were not subject to them rather than the other way around. Even the North once considered secession (War of 1812, Federalist Party tried to have New England secede, but was laughed at because Andrew Jackson had just won the War, unknown to them).

This reply is applicable for India.

Unless a lot of electoral reforms are made and if the present situation continues , India will be in the doldrums. All the wealth will be accumulated by a particular few and law and order situation will become uncontrollable; All educated and sensible mass will like to leave India and go to other better destinations. Rowdyism, Gundaism , Nepotism etc only will completely rule the country and there will be no place in India for those having any consciousness.

Let us pray such thing does not happen

Depends on how you view the current scenerio!

How bout the hot issues

1. President Ignores over 60% of Population and does whatever he wants and gets away with it.

2. Government not controlling Borders : People Pouring into America via the southern border unabated

3. Liberal Policy for Outsourcing American Jobs

4. Cheap labor pushing wages down

Now take those political issues.....Let them continue.....

Twenty Years later ------>
The United States becomes a Enpoverished Nation without any viable industries. Extremely Overpopulated with Millions of starving people. Anarchy reins supreme as the Nation falls under a Disinterested Dictatorship. Spanish Officially becomes the National language.

see if the political scenario continues in the same way, we will have more bad roads, dearth of water, poverty like never before and probably more and more loan from world bank with no production. money will as usual go in the big pockets of poiliticians.
but there would be better infrastructure and bigger malls for the richie rich to spend lavishly. nevertheless. what more can u expect from india.
but if leaders like manmohan singh and abdul kalam join as MLA's and MP's too, india has a promising future.

See the question linked below. Everyone seems to be in agreement that we can't trust our government. Either side of the isle.

We need an Amendment granting us the power to nullify any law passed in Washington. And we CAN get it.

Write the amendment and set a date for a peaceful blockade of all national activity.

Then, put together a series of short, free-to-copy video documentaries. Email everyone you know and have them to email everyone they know.

On the date of the blockade, block rail-lines, airports, freeways, government offices, schools, Wal-marts, the works.

And don't move till we get our amendment.
