Why do people cover their nose when i go near them?

i mean i dont think i stink but when i go near them they just sniff and rubbs their nose as if i stink
i even ask them if i stink and they say no but why the **** do they do this for

They're being polite. They think you stink. Invest in some good deodorant or cologne. Or if the problem is that you wear too much cologne, lay off on it. Nobody likes a walking perfume factory.
