In 2004 i got into a bad car accident and now i live in pain all the time i take 600 mlg of morphine everyday and also a few percodans for break through pain..why in the world you would want to get messed up with pain meds.i don't know..maybe you do have pain..but the best way is to walk into the doctors office and explain to him that your back and neck are killing you and you have tried everything else on the counter and have had no luck in controlling the pain..then tell him you would like to try just a few vicodin to see it they would help ..don't ask him for a full script just a few just to see.then when you are done taking them ..i'm sure will be that night lol...wait the amount of days it should have taken you then go back to the doctors and tell him they worked fine but they were a bit too strong..doctors like that..so he will give you something still in the narcotic family but not as strong and then you will be all set..have fun..

What is wrong with you? You have to have a history of chronic pain or disease documented by a reputable doctor. You can't just go in there, make up a story, and expect to get anything more than tylenol regular or extra strength. You don't just go in for the first time(especially if the doctor doesn't know you) and expect a script for lortabs or anyhing else. Doctors can tell a drug seeker from a true chronic pain patient in seconds. Are you just tired of buying them off the street? So what is your medical problem needing Lortabs?

Have you told the doctors your symptoms, believe me you will know when you need them. Unfortunately, today there are so many people abusing the medications for pain the doctors have to be careful in prescribing them. In some cases they are to careful and the patients end up suffering. You haven't mentioned anything about your pain or condition, so I am not sure what to tell you. Good Luck

you can always request a bone graft or give yourself a herniated disc. Neither is very well recommended. If the doctor is not convinced of your pain, you won't get the meds. If you have a family MD or DDS on the other hand, that could facilitate the process without performing above mentioned suggestions. ;)

Go jump a fence with a pitbull in the yard. My leg got mauled by a dog last month and they gave me oxycotons, percocets, vicodins, T-3's, and pills to make me sleep.
Thumbs down me all you want! My injuries are real and do warrant strong meds to kill the pain. This guy sounds like some guy who is trying to scam a doctor into giving him pain meds for recreational use, or maybe even for profit. Think about it, have you ever been really injured and in a lot of pain and the doctor only offers you tylenol 3's? Well the reason is because guys like this are always trying to scam Doctors for pain meds. Also think about the fact he asked "what has to be wrong with me before they will give them to me" I'm sorry but it sounds like he is trying to scam the Docs for drugs.

What is your history? Do you have a diagnosis that is causing chronic pain? I ask because you didn't give that info. If you don't have one yet and are just starting to search for an answer pls start with your primary care physician and go from there.

sorry but - Sounds as if you're ailing for a fix besides a fix for an ailment.
If this is correct get help - Loritabs and stuff can mess you up bad if you don't really need them and sometimes when you do need them they mess you up.

If you are in pain then you should be able to get them from your doctor. Your Primary Care Physician can also refer to to pain management if they are uncomfortable prescribing and you have a condition that warrants treatment with Opioids

Somehow I got an impression that you are addicted to some component of the pain medication (such as codeine, morphine etc.). Pardon me if I am wrong and I hope I am wrong. They will not prescribe pain medication unless you are in pain. And they will not prescribe opioids (morphine etc.) unless the pain is also associated wtih terminal illnesses like cancer.
If you have some pain and are not getting relief with allopathy, try alternative systems.

Be in actual, documented pain. Don't scam the system for your addiction. Grow up.
