Check with the hopitals and they can help you find good caretakers. Indian Red cross and some NGOs engaged in social work are also good choices.

A person with dementia needs help 24/7 and for you to get one particular person to take care of this person, it would be virtually impossible. Sometimes putting that person in a facility is the best thing for them since they will round the clock care. Of course, a good facility takes money and research. If this person can travel outside their country, that would be great because you have more options. I have had a sick relative and provided two nurse shifts for her but at the end of the day, I found myself having to supervise her nurses and make sure that my relative was ok, which was pretty exhausting. I ended up putting her in a great facility in Dominican Republic. I show up unannounced and she always looks great and well taken care of.

some human beings w/dementia purely don.t communicate, as you have found out......my considerable advice is often tell her what you're doing, quite whilst this is like helping her with own hygeine and stuff like that......and despite if she doesn.t respond, you are able to check along with her approximately issues she would experience are friendly...ex-her little ones being good human beings for taking good care of her, the climate, plans for the day and stuff like that.....

Look in your local yellow pages for a doctor who treats people with mental problems, and ask them if they know of any organizations that can help you.
If they can't help you, maybe they can refer you to someone else who can.
