get over her or go after her?

Im a freshman in highschool, Ive been going out with a girl for a year and four months. She just dumped me a night ago, and ive been trying to get her back. I bought her flowers and a picture frame with a nice picture of us in it and wrote her a note, She said i cant see her until we're over each other, I CANT GET OVER HER, she said i might as well throw the stuff away. Everytime i look at her picture and see how happy we were i just cry. I cant get over her, theres no way, and she wont take me back, i dont know what to do, please help me...

Was she your first love? Certainly she probably was your first long term one --- and they're the hardest to get over --- but you will get over her and one day look back and laugh at it although I know right now it doesn't seem like it. Keep yourself busy so you don't have time to brood over her --- quit trying to get her back --- she's made it quite clear to you and the more you try to get her back the least likely it is she will -- it will only make her more aggressive in pushing you away and you stand the chance of not being able to remain friends if you don't accept it and move on. Take down all the pictures and things that remind you of her -- start making new "habits" other than thinking of her --- get some new hobbies and friends and keep busy! Good luck -- it will get better!

funny i came across this, me & my uncle were talking about a similar story the other night. he said a girl broke up with him, & the fact she didnt want to see him only made him want her more. Also, i broke up with my ex, & after a few months i missed him so badly! Think about it this way kid, your a fresh fish in highschool & im assuming so is she! thats a whole new outlook at life! Things change, and maybe she is wanting to try it out! Just wait it out, yet let yourself get a grip & move on at the same time! Date other girls, when she sees you with them maybe she'll begin to realise what she had & might come back. Don't show her you're vulnerable- i dont know about other chicks, but it only makes me sick & push guys away more if i had previously broken up with them.

Sorry to tell but this sounds over. It is hard to forget and forgive. But it happens. You might get lucky and find someone else soon. Life has lessons that are not always pleasant. if this girl is set in her decision not to get back with you then its not likely you two will unite again. everybody goes through a heartbreak sometime in their lives including me. but we have to bite the bullet and accept that relationship is history. i suggest now tha tyou do everything in your power not say or be involved in anything that has to do with her. seeing her will only prolong the process. keep yourself busy with other things to keep thoughts of her out of your mind. i also didnt want to leave this without asking what were her reasons for breaking it off with you. so i cant tell you if she is worth going after or not. maybe she was just tired of being in a relationship. that does happen.
