Flowers, make her a CD of some oldies from her days, make her a photo album, write her a poem and frame it, take her to dinner where she never has been, make her something like pottery or a drawing. Make some matching shirts to wear. Put a collage together and I don't mean one or two picture in a frame I mean a big 16X 16 with 20-30 pictures. Take her dancing or to a movie.

What a wonderful, caring daughter you are-- mother's day is months away and you are already thinking of ways to please your mom...As a mother of two daughters, I can honestly tell you that NO gift is better than spending time with my children--even if it is sitting home and getting take out- reminiscing over old pictures- going for a walk-- anything that will bring back the old memories of when you were a child and how much fun it was for your mom to raise you.....if you have our old pictures and ones with her-- compose a quickie photo book- nothing fancy and bring it to her on mothers day and reminisce----I wish you can e mail my daughters....I can cry thinking of how nice it would be.........god bless you for being such a great daughter.....remember, a scarf, purse, whatever money can buy cannot replace memories of being together- and take pictures of that day....more for next years album..........god bless..............

Flowers, a plant, get all the kids together and do a portrait, spend the day with her. write her a letter telling her all the wonderful things she has done for you and how she helped make a difference in your life. a trip to a day spa. If she goes to church go with her what ever is important to her.

maybe if she is into gardens you could get her a really nice flower pot of roses or sunflowers and if she is a collector of something you could help her along with it or you could take her to a spa!
