It is most of the atheists I come across on here or in life that are rude arogant people. So Christians are you finding people becoming more and more corupt? I am glad there is a hell, God is just. How do you handle rude sods? You go about your business each day and some rude evil person opens their fat mouths and is nasty to you. I shall give you an example. I was at Macdonalds the other day ordering a meal, and I asked how much is the sweat and sower sauce, as I thought it was free. I was told 50 cents and I said that is expensive(flavor for my fries) and one rude female said in a rude voice it is not her fault about the price. I told her to get back on her horse and ride of into the sunset. I was not rude as I did not swear at her.Another occasion was a few weeks ago I was ordering a salad and this femal was picking things up in her hands with no gloves on(how disgussting) and then I asked her where are her gloves and she was rude. I swear if I was not a christians I would take

her head of her shoulders, and really go her. I take no crap from anybody. A few years ago when I was not saved I used to give people 10 times as much as I got and won. But it had to be them that started it first before I would respond in not a nice way. To be honest I felt like telling them to F of, but I held my mouth, which is an improvement from me. Christians if you do not stick up for yourself than who is going to? I do not left anybody wipe their crap on me, how do you handle such rudeness from people?

If one goes through your posts they will find you to be a liar in desperate need of psychiatric help. You claim you almost died in your mothers arms last saturday of bowel cancer. Your words are "I was gasping for air, and no I do not have asthma, it was spreading to my lungs, and I was pale as a ghost, and almost on my last legs" but yet this same day you were on Yahoo answers and in your other post under general diseases & conditions you say they have ruled out bowel cancer ... get help!

you can "stand up for yourself" easier and more effectively by having a meek and quiet spirit than using verbal retorts. That is not being a door mat or weak - that is being the rock of Gibraltar - unmovable. The Word says that if a man would take your coat, let him have your cloak also, or if he asks you to go a mile then go 2, or if he slaps you on the cheek then turn the other to him also. Sounds pretty "spineless" on the surface but parents actually do this all the time with children. Think about it - a child is "rude" and throws a fit. The parent doesn't "react" childishly - they are the PARENT. As Christians all authority and power is ours through Christ. We can stand the "tantrums" of the world because we are the spiritual Parent (the Authority). Don't react or get upset - simply show them a better way in Christ by controlling your own spirit and tongue! You have nothing to prove - but there is plenty that we are required to "show."

Um, what do people who work at a fast food restaurant have to do with Atheists? How would you know about their religious beliefs unless you engaged them in a debate?

If you are so displeased about your service at a restaurant either complain to the manger or just stop going there. For all you know they might have been having a bad day, you should cut them some slack. McDonald's isn't that great of a restaurant anyways and griping at the employees isn't going to do you any good if anything it will make things worse. I used to work in a restaurant, trust me if you start insulting the people who are making your food....you do *not* want to know what they do to it or with it.

Lol@ the answer below me.

How do you know that the rude people you meet are atheists? Did they tell you?

Does one have to swear in order to be rude?

How to you suppose Matthew 7:1-5 and Luke 6:27-29a apply to these situations?

This unspecified action you'd take if you weren't a Christian--are you saying that the reason you won't do it is merely that you believe in Jesus? Or are you just trying to avoid the hell to which you so gleefully condemn others?

As for the rude atheists on Y!A, please look up "confirmation bias," because i don't see the same trend.

Are you trolling?

And what makes you think these behind the counter was an atheist and not a Christian (or Muslim or Buddhist for that matter) was it written on her nametag? Hmm?

Well, as a Christian, who are we to judge others? Sure, sometimes life may be frustrating. But, hey, we can be glad we are given each new day from the Lord. Our reason fro being, as believers, is to show God's glory, not to criticize others. Truthfully, it is not just so-called Atheists who can be rude. Anyone can be rude, yes, even I have seen Christians as being rude, which rudeness is not one of the fruits of the spirit. As a Christian, I urge you to (re)-read Galatians 5:22. That will help you further with your walk with God. Demonstrate those qualities, and don't judge others, too. It is not up to us to judge. It is up to God. God bless!

The way you talk in every one of your questions it sounds like it only rains on your head. You sound bitter because you just found out at that mcdonalds that the world doesn't revolve around you. If you don't like their prices eat somewhere else. And how do you know what religion they are? You sound like your typical Fred Phelps Christian conservative bigot who believes everyone else should bend over to her.

Go have yourself a great big cup of shut the **** up.

why don't you just quit eating out? Most atheists that I know of (including myself) only get rude when we have to deal with self righteous people like yourself. You can be rude to someone without swearing at them. And picking on innocent fast food employess? That's the the lowest of the low, how would you even know if they were atheists or not? Do us all a favor and grow up.

I am a Christian and I have met rudeness in all walks of life regardless of their beliefs. We live in a rude world. But because we live in it, we don't have to be rude also. Jesus told us to separate ourselves from among them. In a crowd, would someone be able to tell if you were different, by the way you behave or would you blend in? We have to speak with kindness and love to everyone, not just the people that we are pleased with. We have Jesus as our example. Imagine how rude it was for Judas to kiss Him on the cheek as he was betraying Jesus. That would have been the ultimate insult to anyone, but Jesus was still loving and caring in His words and actions.
