Hey, it this is your best friends, you two should have better communication. Honesty is the best solution for you. If you don't have the money, you just need to be honest and tell him. Explain to him that you know it seems like a lot of things come up, but you can't really help it. Let him know that you would like to do these things, but if you can't, you can't. If he's really a friend, he will accept the truth.

Ouchie. It must mean so much for your best friend. Yet if you can't make it, just be honest. Tell him that you're struggling at the moment. And then be creative and find other ways to spend time together without having to pull money out of your pocket. I'm sure that even if he made the effort to come down for spring break, he'd still want to just be in your company. He'll be disappointed, that's the consequence. But finding other ways is better than trying to dodge the truth.

Just be straight with him. You can't help your situation and beating yourself up about not having the cash to club is not going to do you any good.

You being straight with him gives him the opportunity to razz you a little and then suggest that you two go out clubbing a different day or offer to pay for your weekend and you get him next time.

Either way, if he's a good friend, he'll understand. Otherwise, my friend who is also contributing to this post suggests that you could always fake sick. I like my answer better though!

WELL honesty is the best policy, just tell him the truth ,and maybe he will loan you the money or pay your way and not want it back, sounds like he would just like for you to go with him cause your his best friend . he should understand the truth better than a made up lie.good luck

Going clubbing is the single most important thing you can do in life. So, go to money mart. Bring your most recent pay stub from work, a blank cheque, some phone numbers of friends or family for references, ask for a payday advance/loan, and get ready to party your butt off! Oh, it's just too easy these days.....

At this late time you just need to say it. If you don't say anything he'll be even more angry and you've already waited to now so it's going to be a even bigger disappointment. No one should be mad that work has inconvenienced the party since we all have to survive and for the majority of us we survive by working. do it and do it now!!!

Tell him the truth, of course if that is the real reason your not going. If he really wants to see you he should offer to pay for you so you can go out with him. If he can't afford to pay for you, then he should understand why you can not afford to go out.

If you have to ask strangers about such a situation... Perhaps you don't have such a good friend after all. You should be able to share anything with a friend...
