We've all heard the controversy raised about vaccinations. Now it's time to see what the public thinks about vaccinations. I know that we need a solution to the problem (that being airborne and communicable diseases). But are vaccines worth the risk? And are they even effective in most cases?

Did you know what some of the ingredients of a vaccine are?
1) ammonium sulfate: toxic salt irritates liver, nerve and lung.
2) B-Propiolactone: found to cause cancer in animal tissue.
3) Latex Rubber: can cause life-threatening allergic reaction in some.
4) Monosodium glutimate (MSG): Birth defects and reproductive problems.
5) Formaldehyde: poisonous and suspected to cause cancer
6) Aluminum: Linked to Alzheimer's
7) Mercury: removed from hosiptals and school nurse offices, but found it's way in our vaccines. Linked to Autism and Alzheimer's.
8) Phonol / Phenoxyethanol (AntiFreeze). Immune compromise and severe side effects have been noted.

Did you know ...
Since the exponential increase of vaccine administration, an exponential increase of autism has occurred. In countries where vaccinations are iniexistant or low, autism is essentiall null.
That isn't to say that the premise behind vaccinations is bad, it's to say that there are big big problems with vaccinations as they currently are!

I think for some things they are very effective, like smallpox and stuff like that... it obviously worked. But the last time I got a flue shot (probably 10 years ago, it was that bad) my arm got REALLy swollen and hurt soooo badly- it felt like all of the achiness you get with the flue was built up in my arm instead of spread over my whole body, if that makes sense. It hurt so badly I felt like I would rather cut it off than deal with that pain- and then I immediately (day after shot) came down with the worst flue I have had to date. I think I have a kinda sucky immune system and I always get the flue but I am just so terrified of getting that sick from the vaccine again that I won't do it. There are a lot of people who have this reaction, even though doctors always swear that shouldn't happen since it isn't a "live" vaccine.

That's fine. You go ahead and not get vaccinated. Spread the word, encourage others to also not get vaccinated. Just don't come crying to me when the population vaccination level drops below 85% and people start dying of vaccine-preventable diseases. I'll be safe, I've had my shots.
Sheesh.

Solution. Vaccines are how we eradicated many diseases. Sadly we are seeing a lot of these diseases come back because people aren't vaccinating against them. The risk is minimal and there are few side effects.

What are the downsides of vaccinations? Please do tell us; I can't wait to here them.
Lets list the diseases we can now (in most cases) prevent people from getting shall we?
Mumps - can causes death/birth defects in unborn babies
Measles - Can cause death, meningitis, loss of hearing, pancreatitis
Rubella - Can cause death and encephalitis
Tuberculosis - Chronic Pulmonary infections, encephalitis, kills 3 million a year, mainly in the third worl who cant afford the vaccinations
Polio - paralysis and wasting, death, now nearly eradicated due to vaccination
Yellow fever - very nasty hemorrhagic viral infection
Tetanus - only lasts 10 years, but prevents Rigid paralysis and death
Diphtheria - suffication
Whooping cough - Lung infection
H. influenzae - causes bacterial menigitis
Meningitis C - obvious really
Strep pneumoniae - can cause meningitis, pneumonia
Oh and the cream on the cake: We have eradicated smallpox.
Are they worth the risk? Look at that list and then tell me honestly the answer isn't a big positive yes.

look at 2nd and 3rd world countries which do not have vaccination programs or access to vaccines. these are examples of what can happen when unvaccinated. weigh the pros and cons.
vaccines will always be worth the risk.

Vaccines are effective in the main. Name one medication that doesn't carry the risk of adverse effects. Vaccines are worth it.
