You should start at the Department of Immigration web page at http://www.immi.gov.au
This should give you most of the information you need. You will probably have to contact the embassy at some stage but use the web page first.

If you have a Masters Degree in Computer Science then you can migrate as a Permanent Resident on a Subclass 136 visa like I did. At the Department of Immigration (DIMIA) website (www.immi.gov.au) you'll find the information regarding how to proceed, and the whole process takes a little less than a year.

You can also try with a Migration Agent because they will take care of everything for you. They'll charge you, of course, but they'll guide you through the whole process as well. I did that and it cost me US$ 6.000

My agents are called Southern Cross Alliance and you will easily find their website

a fellow Leb! i live in Oz, i have my whole life but i've had lots of family move from Lebanon to Australia. basically the easiest way is to have family over here. they are kind of like your short-cut through all the reasoning with the government and stuff. if not, you have to go through lots of legal immigration related things but if you want to move here badly enough you should be ok with doing that. I love Lebanon but Oz is WAYYYYY better!!!
